WHAT IS DUTCHING

Dutching is a strategy that involves betting on multiple selections in the same event, distributing the stake so that the profit is the same regardless of which selection wins.

It is useful when you believe there is more than one possible winner but you are not sure which one. Instead of betting everything on one odds, you spread the risk intelligently.

HOW IT WORKS

• Enter the odds for each selection you want to cover
• Set your total stake (what you want to risk in total)
• The calculator distributes the stake proportionally so the return is equal for any winning outcome

Stakei = Stake total × (1/cuotai) / Σ(1/cuotaj)

WHEN TO USE DUTCHING

• Multiple favorites: when two or three selections have good probabilities
• Hedging risks: when you want to secure profit in events with few options
• Partial arbitrage: when combined odds are favorable but don't reach surebet level

Note: Dutching is only profitable if the sum of implied probabilities (1/odds) is less than 1. If the sum exceeds 1, the bookmaker has enough margin for you to lose on average.
